Made from a suggestion by my buddy Matt. He wanted a cupholder to just hold two standard Gatorade bottles and a phone, maybe some business cards too.
What ended up getting designed was this. Made for custom fabricated sheet metal tunnels and guys who still want some creature comforts during their drives in a hot rod.
Available as a printed piece that is made to order or as a 3D printable file via Cults3D. For color requests, place it into the notes section.
The cupholder combo 9000 (finished name) is a printed part with four inset magnets on the backside of the part for easy attachment and removal from a sheet metal transmission tunnel. Measuring 8.5”x9.25, it has provisions for the following
-Two Gatorade bottles or Owala, Hydroflask, insulated stainless steel water bottles
-Two standard cupholders for cans or small drinks
-One phone pocket
-Two pockets for business cards, credit cards, etc
-Two Apple MagSafe phone chargers
I wanted it to be more or less road trip ready as an item you purchase and set down, set it up with drinks and chargers, and hit the road without worry. Most hot rods don’t have provisions for phone chargers, much less a MagSafe charger. Hopefully this bridges the gap.
