No one really made this as far as I can tell. Some have made similar for singles but aren’t in business anymore. I scoured the internet far and wide to try and find something pre-made that would hold either a single or a dual HKS 36 speed loader, or any speed loader for that matter. I was able to find some oddball revolver dude on Instagram who had one for a SafariLand setup but could never find his post again, so I decided to make my own.
3D printed in ASA, designed for dual HKS 36 speed loaders running 357 or 38 special. Uses a 1.5” retention clip with some rubber washers for some more pliability to get around a belt and a good pair of jeans. It’s got a good bit of a slant to the design to accommodate the clip and also so it doesn’t stab you in the groin when you sit down. I carry this with a 360PD in a summer special alongside this and it’s been plenty comfortable. I’m uncertain when I would need 15 rounds of 357 but I suppose never say never.
At the time of writing this description (3/4/26) it’s been in use for a whopping week and hasn’t had any issues yet. Should there be any I’ll update the design and offer warranty replacements for anyone with an affected carrier free of charge. Additionally, I’ll be working through a design for a single speed loader solution over the next month or so.
