I have no idea where HGI went, and I’ve never been able to find a secondhand torch rack to purchase from anyone or any service.
So I made my own version. It’s not 1:1 but it’s very close. This has all the same features his did, sprung arms, bearings, threaded standoffs, etc. but is now an item that is available to the masses (not only in limited drops) and can be made at home if you have a 3D printer.
Features inset magnets on the top and bottom of the rack, sprung arms, threaded standoffs so everything is always in tension, and bearings for smooth arm operation when placing or removing the torch
These are printed in ASA for strength as well as heat resistance from a hot torch, but can be printed at home in whatever flavor your heart desires. The printer files are listed as another item in the shop, and come with a BOM as well as instructions on assembly.
Price includes shipping to the lower 48.
